Real Madrid’s interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane has intensified, with manager Carlo Ancelotti describing him as a “top player.”
Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid will prioritized Kane as their primary transfer target, regardless of the outcome of Karim Benzema’s potential move to Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid aims to have both Kane and Benzema play together at the Bernabeu, and Ancelotti is believed to be the driving force behind their interest in Kane, considering him the preferred striker for the team.
Benzema’s decision to stay at Real Madrid has significant implications for Kane and his future. If the Frenchman does move to Saudi Arabia, it would increase the urgency for Real Madrid to pursue Kane this summer.
However, Kane’s contract with Tottenham expires next summer, making him potentially available on a free transfer. According to reports, the striker will not sign a new contract at the club and would rather leave on a free if he is not sold this summer.
Recall the England captain tried to force his way out of the club two summers ago after concrete interest from Manchester City but he was denied a move.
Even though his club continues to struggle, Kane always shows his class by being one of the most consistent players in the Premier League.

When asked about the forward, Ancelotti acknowledged the player’s talent but also emphasized the need to respect Tottenham, as Kane is currently their player.
“Harry Kane is a top player but we have to respect Tottenham, he’s a Tottenham player,” Ancelotti said in a press conferenceon Saturday ahead of their final match of the season on Saturday.
However the Italian was quick to assure fans that Real Madrid will have a competitive team in the upcoming season. “I can guarantee to you that Real Madrid will have a competitive team again next season.”
Despite strong links to the Brazil national team job, Ancelotti stated his happiness and desire to continue at Real Madrid for the next season. He expressed no issues with the club and affirmed the intention to improve upon their performance in the coming campaign.
“I’m happy at Real Madrid. No problems with the club. I’m very happy to continue and we will try to do better next season.”
