PSG have announced through their social media platforms that Sergio Ramos will not be renewing his contract and will cease to be a player for the club as of June 30th.
The 37-year-old defender joined PSG from Real Madrid in 2021 and has made a total of 57 appearances across various competitions.
During his tenure at PSG, Ramos contributed to the team’s success by winning two Ligue 1 titles and a Trophée des Champions, adding to his impressive collection of accolades earned with Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.
“Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow I will say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to PSG,” Ramos wrote via Twitter. “I don’t know in how many places one can feel at home, but without a doubt PSG, the fans, and Paris were one of them for me.

Ramos will have the opportunity to bid farewell to PSG fans during their final Ligue 1 match of the season against Clermont Foot on Saturday.
The defender is not the only one who will leave the club this summer with Lionel Messi expected to follow suit. Reports also suggest that head coach Christophe Galtier will be shown the exit after an underwhelming season as per the club’s expectations.
