Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to make a foray into acting by featuring in the new Asterix and Obelix movie scheduled to be released February of next year.
The Sweden international stars as a fearsome Roman soldier called Antivirus in the movie which is titled Asterix and Obelix: L’Empire du milieu.
Ibrahimovic shared the trailer of the movie on twitter with his followers where on Sunday. In it, he was seen fighting as a Roman soldier, delivering a brutal uppercut to a rival soldier.
He accompanied the trailer with the message: “Soon. Vive la France.”

Ibrahimovic, who turns 41 next month, has yet to announce his retirement from professional football and is still under contract with AC Milan until next summer.
The Swedish forward has been sidelined for months with injury but has promised fans he will come back stringers rather than retire.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport earlier, the Swede said: “I will be back soon. I’m not going to retire, I’m coming back and I won’t give up.”
