Haaland sets record as Man City cruise past Wolves

Erling Haaland was once again on the score sheet for Manchester City when they faced Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Norwegian scored his 11th Premier League goal of the season to set the record as the first player to score in his first four away games.

Jack Grealish opened the scoring for the visitors in the first minute while Haaland added to his side’s tally about a quarter into the game.

The hosts’ woes were worsened as they had Nathan Collins sent off for a reckless foul on Grealish just after the half hour mark.

City capitalised on their numerical advantage to add a third goal in the second half of the tie via Phil Foden.

With the victory, City have now extended their unbeaten away run in the Premier League to 22 games — the fourth longest in top flight history.

They have also maintained their unbeaten start to the season and hence climb to the top of the table with 17 points.
