Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed he and his team would be supporting Norwich City who play against Spurs on the final day of the season.
Tottenham and the Gunners have a Champions League spot at stake going into the final league game of the season and both would need to win their games to stand a chance.
Arsenal with 66 points are two points behind Spurs who have 68 points. It means anything other than a win would not be enough for the Gunners and despite that, they’d have to still rely on Spurs losing their fixture to stand a chance.
Tottenham play already relegated Norwich City at Carrow Road while Arsenal play hosts to Everton who cemented a Premier League spot for next season with a win in their previous game.
Ahead of the match, Arteta revealed he was hopeful of Norwich getting a result against Tottenham.
“[The Everton game] gives me more encouragement about what can happen on the last day at Norwich,” he said. “This only happens in this league, it’s what makes this league so incredible.
