Everton forward Richarlison went on a 2am Twitter rant to slam Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher in the wake of Everton’s win over Crystal Palace.
The Brazilian played a vital role to help his side avoid Premier League relegation with an incredible 3-2 comeback win against Crystal Palace on Thursday night.
Early goals by Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew put the Eagles in a commanding position in the first half but they were undone by a resurgent Everton side who turned the game on its head in the second half.
Michael Keane pulled one back and Richarlison scored the equaliser in the 75th minute at Goodison Park. His side were soon in front courtesy of Dominic Calvert-Lewin who struck 10 minutes later.
Hours after the match, Richarlison took to social media to blast Carragher in a tweet where he wrote he didn’t respect the pundit.
“Wash your mouth before you talk about me and everton and I don’t respect you đź’©,” Richarlison wrote at 1.37am.

The tweet could have stemmed from previous comments made by Carragher in which he criticised Richarlison for going down too easily.

“Talking about Richarlison going down is nothing to do with bias. Every Everton game I do he goes down three or four times like he’s got a big injury then just gets up! It’s not about getting a penalty or a foul but pretending he’s hurt when he’s not.”
The pundit has since deleted the tweet but not before getting a response from the Brazilian who posted a gif of himself celebrating a goal with his fingers on his lips.
On Friday morning, Carragher responded to Richarlison, stating his admiration for the clap back.
“I actually quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I’m sure I would’ve called pundits out quite a lot!!” he wrote.
