PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has revealed that a decision regarding his future will be announced to the public “very soon” as he continues to ponder over it.
The Frenchman’s contract expires at the end of the season and PSG are desperate to hold on to their star forward who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid for years.
The Spanish giants have made signing Mbappe their priority this summer but the 23-year-old could still well remain at the Parc des Princes as the club have intensified their efforts to keep him, including offering him a mouthwatering deal that more than doubles his current wages.
Speaking at the UNFP awards where he was named the best player in Ligue 1 for the third consecutive season, the 23-year-old said:
“It will be known very soon, it’s almost done. My decision is made, yes, almost.”
When asked why he has taken so long to make a decision, he added: “Why was I so slow? You have to respect all parties.

“I know that people expected a lot from me. That’s normal. I’m in a hurry too. But it’s not only about me.
“But here it is, it’s finished right now, there are just some details left.”
Some reports in France claim Mbappe had made a decision to stay at the club but the rumours were shut down by the player’s mother who said they were false.
On the other hand, reports in Spain seem positive that the forward has already agreed to a move to Madrid, however, there have been no official announcement from either party.
Whatever decision about his future Mbappe decides to take, all will be definitely be revealed as his contract expires in the summer.
