Jonathan Barnett, the agent to Gareth Bale, has confirmed that his client will be leaving Real Madrid when his contract expires at the end of the season.
AS confirmed by his agent, Bale will be leaving the club after managing to win every major honour during his time in Spain.
Despite this, the forward has fallen out of favour at the club, spending last season on loan to Tottenham, has featured only five times in La Liga and less than 300 minutes in all competitions.
His agent revealed that the 32-year-old’s future depends heavily on Wales’s performance in their remaining World Cup qualifier fixture.
Wales are through to the final and will face either Scotland or Ukraine in order to secure a World Cup spot in Qatar.
“He leaves Real Madrid, but we have to wait for what Wales will be able to do,” Barnett told Portuguese outlet Record.

“It all depends on whether Wales qualify for the World Cup, then we will make a decision, which may vary whether or not Wales go to the World Cup.
“Is it more likely to return to England? I think so, but we’ll have to wait and see if Wales qualifies for the World Cup.”
While Bale has had to endure a torrid couple of years in Madrid, the forward has excelled with his country, contributing immensely to try and secure a spot at the World Cup to follow up their last appearance in the competition in 1958.
