Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel claims he is unaware of the comments made by the agent of Romelu Lukaku in which he states that the forward would be willing to speak to the owner of the club about a possible transfer.
An interview in which the Belgian’s agent revealed plans to speak to the new owners of the club concerning the future of his client surfaced on Friday, a day before Chelsea’s FA Cup final fixture against Liverpool.
The striker has not impressed since moving to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan in the summer on a £98m deal. This has often led to him being relegated to the sidelines and multiple reports claim he could be open to a quick exit away from Chelsea.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup final tie against Liverpool, Tuchel said he’s unaware of Lukaku wanting to speak with Chelsea owners.
“If he plans to talk with the owner then maybe it’s not his plan to talk with me,” Tuchel said. “If he gets a meeting, maybe he can talk.
“It’s his right and we will talk to anybody and evaluate the situation of any player including Romelu.

“I was only aware of it five minutes ago. That’s what it is. Sometimes in football the tension is so high it attracts situations that you don’t want to have before big matches.
“For me it’s not a distraction and hopefully it’s not for everyone who works with the team.”
Chelsea face Liverpool in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday and with the latest “distraction” it remains unknown whether Lukaku will play a part or not.
The 29-year-old has scored three goals in his previous two games for Chelsea and will hope to continue his scoring streak against the Reds.
Liverpool on the other hand still have their quadruple bid on their minds. They would very much like a repeat of the Carabao Cup final where they edged out the Blues to secure their first trophy of the season.
