Man City have confirmed that an agreement has been reached between the club and Borussia Dortmund on the transfer of striker Erling Haaland.
The deal for the highly rated forward is subject to the agreement of personal terms between both parties.
Haaland has been one of the most sought after players in the past year as the Norwegian has proved to be full of potential and lethal in attack.
The 21-year-old joins Pep Guardiola’s side on the back of an incredible stint at Dortmund where he scored 85 goals in 88 matches for the German side.

Yes, the deal has been confirmed by both clubs who released official statements on their website and social media handles.
City announced the signing of Haaland in a statement via their official website, which reads: “Manchester City can confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the Club on 1st July 2022. The transfer remains subject to the Club finalising terms with the player.”
“Erling Haaland is about to transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City,” a statement from Borussia Dortmund read. “All parties have agreed on the basics of this today. The contractual details still have to be coordinated and documented.”
