Mino Raiola: Football Super Agent Is NOT DEAD But In Critical Condition

Mino Raiola, the agent of superstars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland is not dead according to reports in Italy.

Raiola was reported to have been hospitalised in Milan back in January and underwent very delicate surgery however the nature of the illness was not revealed.

The illness at the time was reported to not be life-threatening and the Italian could go back home and continue his rehabilitation.

Reports surfaced from media outlets in Italy stating the agent is dead but there has been no confirmation from family members.

The only official statement is from his doctor who stated that the agent is not dead but in critical conditions.

“Mino is in extremely critical conditions. He is fighting,” his doctor said.

The 54-year-old is considered one of the most influential agents in world football. He had an impressive client list which includes Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Haaland, Marco Verratti and Mario Balotelli.

In 2016, it was reported that Raiola earned as much as £20million from the then world record sale of Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United which cost £89m.

Raiola is set for a busy summer indeed pending when he recovers from his illness as many of his clients like Pogba and Haaland are reportedly set for transfers to new clubs.
