Man United vs Chelsea: Tuchel “Very Happy” To Play Out Of Form Reds

Man United vs Chelsea has always been a blockbuster tie and Tuchel has revealed he expects nothing less

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he is looking forward to playing against Man United ahead of their Premier League tie at Old Trafford on Thursday.

After the 1-0 win over West Ham, the Chelsea boss has said he looks forward to playing Man United and has backed his side to do well.

Despite the sanctions, the Blues have reacted well on the pitch. They go into the tie with the better form having lost only one of their last five games in all competitions.

“I am personally very happy to play against Man United at Old Trafford,” Tuchel said to the media.

“For me it is one of the biggest stages, one of the biggest stadiums and one of the biggest clubs and locations to play. I arrive with a strong club, a strong team – this is the best way to arrive as a coach.

“I am very happy to have this match, and it will always be a big match for me, no matter which position and what current form they are in. That is why we prepare in the best possible way.

“We don’t reflect so much on their situation and what is going on in and around the club. We focus on their last matches, and we should not get confused by the lack of points. For me, this squad is full of quality, and we need to take care on the pitch.”

Chelsea getting a result against Man United will not be easy as they remain winless at Old Trafford for almost a decade in the Premier League.

However, the Blues will be hoping to add to their string of four away wins to pile on more misery on Ralf Rangnick’s side.

On the other hand, a home fixture cannot come at a better time for the Red Devils who despite their lacklustre form, are unbeaten in seven Premier League home fixtures.
