Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho says he’s confident that Nigeria will defeat Ghana to secure a place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

There has been a long standing rivalry between both nations which has permeated into their competition against each other in various scopes including sports.

The Super Eagles are currently in Kumasi, Ghana were the first leg is set to take place and Iheanacho has been vocal about how confident he was that his side will go through.

“It’s not just a rivalry – it’s way more than that. It’s a lot of things. It’s a massive game,” the Leicester City star told the Fifa website.
