Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the 3-2 win against Tottenham which took his tally of goals to 807 and officially makes him the top goalscorer in professional football.
The Portuguese was at his brilliant best as he helped his side to a much needed victory over top four rivals Spurs on Saturday.
Ronaldo put his side in front just 13 minutes into the tie with an outstanding hit from outside the box. The strike took him to be tied on the most goals scored by Josef Bican
However, Spurs soon grabbed an equaliser via a Harry Kane penalty after Alex Telles was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
Ronaldo once again put his side in front just before the break with the easiest of tap-ins from a Jadon Sancho pass to become the top goalscorer of all time.
The 37-year-old almost had all his hard work undone after United captain Harry Maguire deflected a shot into his own goal to hand the visitors another equaliser.
However, Ronaldo came up clutch once again rising highest to head in his third goal and round off his hat-trick.
His hat-trick handed Man United a much needed victory sending them into the top four.
