Liverpool reduced the gap between themselves and league leaders Man City with a 1-0 win against West Ham on Saturday.
Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the game in the first half as the Reds climbed within three points of their title rivals.
The 2021 AFCON winner was well placed to rifle home a pass by Trent Alexander-Arnold to grab his 12th goal of the season.
West Ham had several chances of their own but seemed to lack composure in front of goal to hurt Liverpool.
The win puts Liverpool within touching distance of rivals Manchester City as the gap between them has been reduced to just three points.
“We just lacked that little bit in the box,” David Moyes told BBC as he moaned about his side’s indecisiveness in front of goal.
“The players played really well today, I don’t think a draw would have been off the mark but we didn’t get it.
“We needed one to go in. We had to ride our luck at the start but we grew into the game and had three big chances, plus one or two other opportunities on top of that.”

On the other hand, his counterpart Jurgen Klopp was pleased with his team’s performance acknowledging the quality of the opposition.
“It was difficult, it was a tricky fixture,” Klopp told Sky Sports after the match.
“We did really well in the first half. We knew what West Ham were good at and in the first half we denied them. We could have scored more but we didn’t.
“The game was left open, they were pretty direct. Antonio used his body pretty smartly, but they had moments because we didn’t defend the second balls properly in the second half.
“I am absolutely happy with the result but I know we can do much better. It is a very special win, it feels great. West Ham are a very strong opponent. It is no coincidence they are where they are.”
The pressure has now been firmly placed on Manchester City to perform if they hope to secure consecutive titles.
Pep Guardiola’s side play host to city rivals Manchester United on Sunday in the hopes of extending their lead at the top of Premier League table.
