Chelsea forward Kai Havertz scored twice as the Blues grabbed an emphatic 4-0 victory against Burnley at Turf Moor.
In a week which has been largely tumultuous for Chelsea with talks about the selling of the club, the West London club seemed unfazed as they grabbed their third consecutive league win.
The hosts were undone by a goal from Reece James, a Havertz brace and a late strike from Christian Pulisic as they suffered a second consecutive defeat without scoring.
Neither side could find the breakthrough in the first half but Chelsea upped the ante against their opponents with a second half masterclass.
James opened the scoring minutes after the interval with a brilliant individual display that ended with a goal for the Englishman who was starting his first Premier League match since coming back from injury.
His goal was followed shortly by a quick-fire brace from Havertz who was leading the line for the Blues with Lukaku on the bench.
Havertz grabbed his first against Burnley with a header after Chelsea teammate Pulisic’s cross found the German in the box.

Moments later, Havertz got his second with the help of James whose cross into the six yard area was converted by his teammate.
Pulisic put the relegation strugglers to the sword with Chelsea’s fourth later on. The American had a lot to thank the Burnley defence for the goal as his assist came through the help of a Tarkowski error.
“The first goal helped us,” Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said after the match.
“In these matches that are so tight, that obviously gives you a lot of confidence.
“It’s a good performance overall because it’s not easy to come to Turf Moor. It was a good team performance, very focused. It improves my impression that we’re constantly getting better and better.
“We deserved to win and it was a very good second half.”
Chelsea are now 13 points behind league leaders Manchester City and 10 points from Liverpool, while Burnley stay in 18th place on 21 points, a point below Everton who have played two games less.
