This year’s Emirates FA Cup enters the latter stages with the quarter final draw conducted on Thursday night.
The draw which was championed by England manager, Gareth Southgate, will give room for teams involved to advance to the semi final stage of the competition at Wembley.
Liverpool after defeating Norwich 2-1 courtesy of Takumi Minamino’s brace, will now contend with the winner between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest.
The tie between Huddersfield and Nottingham will be decided on Monday night, March 7 at 19:30 to decide who plays the Reds in the quarter finals.
Under Jurgen Klopp’s reign, Liverpool have never reached the quarter final of the FA Cup.
This gives them added motivation to go far in this year’s edition having already won the Carabao Cup at the expense of Chelsea this season.
Elsewhere, Manchester City will face a stiff competition from Southampton who defeated David Moyes’ West Ham 3-1, thanks to goals from Romain Perraud, James Ward-Prowse and Armando Broja.
Pep Guardiola’s men advanced to the quarter finals after a 2-0 win over Peterborough with Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish scoring the goals.
Meanwhile, Everton will make the trip to Crystal Palace having defeated Boreham Wood 2-0.
A brace by Salomon Rondon was enough for Everton to book a place in the quarter finals of the competition.

The Eagles on the other hand qualified via a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Stoke City.
There will be no room for slouching for Chelsea who will face Middlesbrough amid uncertainty around the ownership of the club.
The Blues have won more FA cups more than any team remaining in the competition currently, winning the FA Cup eight times, only Arsenal (14) and Manchester United (12) have more.
Chelsea have reached this stage of the FA Cup for the sixth time in seven seasons after coming back twice to defeat Luton Town 3-2.
Saul Niguez got his first goal for Chelsea, while Timo Werner and Lukaku were both on target for the Blues against Luton.
Thomas Tuchel’s side know they will face a stern test in Middlesbrough, who have defeated the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United on route to the quarter finals.

All matches will be decided between Friday, March 18 and Monday, March 21.
