Things are heating up in the AFCON 2021 Group E with every team still eligible to qualify for the knockout stages.
Ivory Coast vs Sierra Leone
It was a fierce encounter between Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone when they met for the second round of fixtures on Sunday.
Ivory Coast had the chance to take the lead early on when they were awarded a ninth-minute penalty when Zaha was fouled by Umaru Bangu.
However, Franck Kessie failed to beat Mohamed Kamara in goal with the Sierra Leone goalkeeper diving the right way.
The Elephants finally took the lead in the 25th minute with a well composed strike by Sebastian Haller from inside the box.
Sierra Leone grabbed the equaliser early in the second half with a fine strike by Musa Kamara.
Shortly after, Ivory Coast were once again in front through Arsenal forward Nicholas Pepe.
Just when it seemed Ivory Coast would get all three points, goalkeeper Ali Sangare committed a blunder which gifted Sierra Leone a chance to equalise which they did through Alhaji Kamara.
The match ended 2-2 with both sides settling for a point.

Algeria vs Equatorial Guinea
Algeria were stunned by their opponents Equatorial Guinea on Sunday night with the latter grabbing the winner deep into the second half.
The defending champions have not had the best of campaigns, going into the fixture following a goalless draw against Sierra Leone in their opening game.
Algeria had several chances to go ahead in the game but couldn’t make the most of any.
They were then made to pay for their missed chances when Esteban Obiang struck home a loose ball after some poor defending.
The National Thunder held on for the rest of the game to ensure they got all three points.
How Things Stand in AFCON Group E:
Ivory Coast top the group with four points accrued from a win and a draw. They are closely followed by Equatorial Guinea with three points from that impressive victory over the defending champions.
Sierra Leone have two points from back to back draws while Algeria are rooted to the bottom of the pile with a point.
Ivory Coast face Algeria in the final fixture while Sierra Leone battle Equatorial Guinea.
Lots of permutations going into the final round of fixtures to decide who progresses. Anything other than a win will see the defending champions, Algeria, fail to progress.
