Harry Kane has refused to show up to Spurs pre-season training amid speculation around his future at the club.
The striker was supposed to resume training with his teammates on Monday following a short holiday after the Euros but did not show up. The striker was due in for various tests, including for Covid-19 and to assess his basic fitness levels.
Kane was reported to have told Spurs he wants to leave the club this summer having grown impatient with the limited ambitions the club poses.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are amongst the clubs reportedly interested in the 28-year-old. A bid from City worth a guaranteed £100m was turned down as Spurs insist that the player is not for sale.
Kane is valued at upwards of £120m and Tottenham are keen to keep him despite the striker believing he has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy that would see him leave this summer if he wants to.
However, it appears Daniel Levy does not subscribe to this notion as Spurs continue to play hardball. Kane has a contract until 2024 and the Spurs chairman is determined to see him honour that.

Man City are also interested in signing Kane’s England teammate Jack Grealish. The Aston Villa captain is reported to have agreed personal terms with the England Champions but is yet to put in a transfer request.
Aston Villa hope to keep their talisman but will not refuse if he asks to leave. Pep Guardiola’s side have reportedly made an offer of £100m for Grealish but it is still unknown whether Villa will accept or reject it.
Unlike Kane, Grealish has returned to Aston Villa on Monday morning for his first day of pre-season training.
