Manchester City Agree Personal Terms With Jack Grealish

Manchester City do not look set to relent on their pursuit of Aston Villa forward, Jack Grealish as various reports emerging from the UK reveals that the premier league champions have agreed personal terms with the player.

Grealish, who started his early football adventure at Highgate United, joined Aston Villa as a 6-year-old. He made his first-team appearance for Villa in 2013 and since then, Grealish has established himself as one of the most talented players at Villa Park.

Grealish has scored 32 times and provided 43 assists in 213 appearances for the club in all competitions. He also made two assists in five appearances for England in the just concluded Euro 2020.

Grealish has sparked a lot of attention from Premier League clubs like Chelsea, but at the moment it looks like Man City are having an upper hand in securing his signature.

City who are keen on revamping their squad in a bid to compete once more for the Champions League next season, are willing to offload the likes of Bernado Silva to pave way for Grealish and Spurs forward Harry Kane.

Guardiola believes that the addition of both Englishmen to his team would help them compete tenaciously for trophies next season including the elusive Champions League which they had earlier lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

It is also reported that Aston Villa will double his wage in a view to making him stay at the club but Grealish feels at this time that he needs a new experience. He would also like to play regular football in a high profile competition like the Champions League.

With this in mind, it is difficult to say if Jack Grealish will succumb to his wage increment and remain at Villa Park or opt for a new adventure.

If City can meet Aston Villa’s price evaluation of the 25-year-old, and eventually sign him, it will be a great addition to the team considering his playing styles and abilities. But the big question now is, will Villa allow him to leave?
