South Korean winger, Son Heung-Min has signed a new contract with North London side Tottenham Hotspur that would keep him at the club until 2025.
Son is largely regarded as one of the best wingers in the Premier League and many Spurs fans regard him as their second-best player after Harry Kane.
The forward signed for the London outfit in 2015 for £22m on a five-year contract making him the most expensive Asian player in football history.
The South Korean is a prolific scorer and can shoot with both feet. He scored 17 league goals last season and has scored a total of 70 goals in the Premier League for Spurs.
Son scored a beautiful solo goal on 7 December against Burnley, running past seven defenders to score. In January 2020, He was awarded the Premier League goal of the month for December for that solo goal. The goal also earned him the Premier League goal of the season and the Puskas award by FIFA.

In January 2021, Son Heung-min was instrumental in the 6-1 mauling of Manchester United at Old Trafford, scoring a brace. He scored his 100th goal for Tottenham in a 3-0 win over Leeds.
Last season, a focal point of Tottenham’s attack was the beautiful combination between him and Harry Kane. The lethal duo combined for 14 goals and set a record for the most goal combinations by a duo in a single Premier League season.
A classic example of their partnership was the Spurs game against Southampton, where Son scored four goals in their 5-2 win and Kane supplied all the assists for his goal.
A fast winger with superb goal-scoring abilities and no weaker foot, Tottenham have certainly done a good job in getting him to sign the contract extension.
If the Spurs hierarchy can get teammate Harry Kane to stay, then Spurs fans can be rest assured that they have forwards that can terrorise the best of both Premier League and European defences.
