Tottenham forward Harry Kane has been quite vocal about his intentions to leave the club this summer but it is yet to be seen if the club will let him leave.
The 27-year-old England captain is one of the few big names in football who has no trophy in his impressive career.
Despite Kane’s plethora of individual accolades like winning the World Cup Golden Boot in 2018, multiple Premier League Golden Boots and the playmaker award during the last campaign, he still hasn’t managed to win a trophy at either club or international level.
Kane’s individual awards come without any trophy accompanying them, which is one of the reasons for the most asked question about the player, will he stick with Tottenham or move somewhere he is assured of trophies?
The situation would have been better if he had won the Euros with England but they lost the final and this might prompt his decision to leave in other to break his trophy curse.
But on the other hand, if he decides to follow in Alan shearer’s footsteps who stayed with his boyhood club Newcastle United despite opportunities to join title-winning Manchester United then, he might stay with Tottenham.
Being a very prolific striker, Kane can break Alan Shearer’s record for most goals in the Premier League in about five seasons of consistently scoring 20+ goals.
But, if he is considering winning major trophies and also considering his age, he is not getting any younger and this is the right time to make a move.

The pandemic has shifted most clubs to focus on young players but, in this case, as one of the best and finest strikers in Europe currently, any top European club will take Harry Kane without having a second thought about it.
If he decides to stay in the Premier League, he can be guaranteed trophies within a very short period of time by joining a top side like Manchester City or Chelsea.
Manchester City for over five seasons have never experienced a trophyless season. Chelsea might get their hands on one of, or even win both the European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Kane can also move to other big European clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG or Juventus who hardly go trophyless in a season.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to the player deciding if he should leave Tottenham to find greener pastures for his football career.
It won’t be easy for any club trying to sign Kane though as Daniel Levy is a very hard man to deal with especially with his tedious transfer policies. However, every player has a price and the club might be willing to let go if the right amount is presented.
