Brentford return to the Premier League after a 74-year absence. The London side had a chance to gain promotion last season after getting to the playoff finals. However, they lost to fellow London side Fulham.
A season later, they got to a second consecutive playoff final, this time defeating Swansea to break the jinx.
The Bees will seek to make a positive impact in the Premier League and will want to avoid the drop at all costs. How can the Bees avoid getting stung in their quest to escape relegation?
Massive Signings
The Bees possessed a lethal strike force two seasons ago called BMW. The strike force consisted of Said Benrahma, Bryan Mbueno and Ollie Watkins.
However, following the playoff final defeat to Fulham, two of their lethal trio have moved on, with Watkins now an integral member of Aston Villa squad and Benrahma playing for London club, West Ham.
The Bees have since recruited Ivan Toney and Sergi Canos has stepped up. They got to the semifinal of the EFL Cup before bowing out of the competition to Tottenham.
If the Bees can complement these gifted players with key signings, they can certainly do more than staying up.

Creating A More Efficient Playing Style
Thomas Frank can certainly be lauded for his tactical exploits in turning Brentford from an average championship team to Championship contenders.
He guided Brentford to two consecutive playoff finals. However, if the Bees must sting their way through 38 matches and compete with the top dogs, they must build a much more efficient playing style.
The Bees played a 4-3-3 for 37 of their 48 games last season. Brentford play high intensity, high tempo and attack-minded football.
They also like to keep the ball and like pressing especially with a high line. Brentford are also a very flexible team and this is evident in the fact that their lineup is rarely the same.
Some players are flexible enough to play two or more positions and this could be useful in case of injuries.
Brentford also have a reputation for scoring a lot of goals. They scored more goals than any other club in the Championship.
If Thomas Frank can tweak his tactics to suit the pressure of the Premier League and the different tactics of the 19 other managers then the Bees will sting their way into winning games.
Brentford will begin their Premier League campaign with a home game against neighbours Arsenal on 13 August.
Trips to Crystal Palace and Aston Villa and visits from Brighton and Liverpool sandwiching a trip to Wolves, make up their first six games of the season.
