Crystal Palace have completed the signing of young England defender, Marc Guehi from Chelsea the club have announced.
Guehi spent last season on loan at Swansea City and the 21-year-old made 40 appearances in the Championship.
Marc Guehi becomes the second signing under new Palace head coach Patrick Vieira since he took over a few weeks ago.
The Frenchman who is keen on taking the club to where it ought to be, secured his first signing by bringing in midfielder Michael Olise from Reading who is expected to strengthen the midfield. In addition, Guehi will serve as defensive reinforcement.
Guehi speaking to palace TV said;
“It’s a great opportunity for me to come to such a big club in the Premier League.
“The club is taking a really exciting direction with the new gaffer that’s come in. A lot of good young players are here and obviously such a stable club with top players really enticed me and made me want to come.”

Guehi is expected to revamp the defense line alongside former Chelsea defender, Gary Cahill.
Guehi was able to help Swansea reach the playoffs final but his side were unable to secure promotion back to the Premier League top flight, losing to Brentford.
The centre-back has also represented England at the under 16 and under 21 levels respectively. In 2017, he helped the Young Lions win the under-17 World Cup.
Guehi is expected to join the rest of his teammates pre-season training ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Chelsea will host Crystal Palace on August 14 in the opening fixtures of the new campaign. Marc Guehi will be relishing that particular encounter and would be hoping to be given the opportunity to play against his former club.
