Armando Broja has penned a new long-term deal with Chelsea that will see him stay with the club till 2026.
The 19-year-old striker spent last season on loan at Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem where he made 34 appearances scoring 11 goals for the club.
He helped the Dutch side finish fourth on the log and subsequently went on to help them reach the KNVP Cup final which they lost to Ajax.
His number of goals last season set him as one of the highest-scoring teenagers in Europe.
The Albania international made his first-team debut for Chelsea in March 2020, coming off the bench in an entertaining match against Everton.
That was the last match Chelsea played before the forceful restrictions of lockdown as a result of the global pandemic.
Broja has constantly been on the rise at the ranks at Cobham since he started playing for Chelsea under 9s. He was also playing as an attacker scoring goals for fun.
Broja has not been absent at the international level as well. He has represented Albania at the senior level, making his debut for them just a few days before his 19th birthday last September against Lithuania.
Since then, Broja has been capped six times for his country and also featured in a World Cup qualifying game against England in March.

Broja started the new preseason training sessions with the Blues alongside his other teammates. He was pivotal in the squad that thrashed Peterborough United in a low-key and closed-door game at the Cobham training base.
The forward scored a volley in that encounter and set up another one for 28-year-old Moroccan International, Hakim Ziyech, who bagged a hat-trick in the encounter which ended 6-1 in favour of Chelsea.
Speaking after signing the deal, he told Chelsea official website:
‘I am really excited to be signing a new contract with Chelsea. Having come through the Academy here it was a special moment for me to make my first-team debut last year, before gaining further experience on loan at Vitesse last season.
‘I want to build on these foundations and I am really looking forward to progressing and making an impact at Chelsea in the years to come.’
Do you think Broja can break into the first team lineup considering the attacking options at the disposal of Thomas Tuchel?
The new season will be underway soon and you will just have to watch and see how things unfold with the young Albania striker.
