The EURO 2020 awards were handed out after the tournament came to a dramatic end on Sunday night at Wembley.
After a 1-1 draw, Italy defeated England via penalties to be crowned European champions for the second time in their history.
Player of the tournament
Given his penalty shootout heroics for Italy in both the semi finals and finals, Gianluigi Donnaruma was handed the Player of the Tournament award.
The 22-year-old was in superb form as he guided his team to European glory. Donnarumma kept a total of three clean sheets, making nine saves.
He did not concede a goal in the group stages, conceded just four goals throughout the entire tournament and never conceded more than once in a game.
The PSG transfer target officially became the first goalkeeper in Euros history to earn the award.
Tournament top goal scorer
Despite exiting the tournament in the round of 16, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo emerged the tournament’s highest goal scorer. The Juventus forward scored five goals in four games.

Despite being level on goals with Czech Republic forward Patrik Schick who also scored five goals, Ronaldo was given the award due to the fact that he played a fewer number of games, fewer minutes and also provided an assist.
Young player of the tournament
Spain midfielder Pedri was given the EURO 2020 award for the young player of the season.
The Barcelona teenager who is just 18-years-old received widespread plaudits for his brilliance and captivating performances, particularly in the semi-final loss to ltaly when he completed 65 of the 66 passes he attempted across the 120 minutes of action.
Golden glove winner
Although not an official award, England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made way with the tournament golden glove after having kept five clean sheets during the course of the competition.
