1. Benzema gets france squad recall
Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has been called up to the France squad for the first time in six years.
The 33-year-old was exiled following allegations of extortion by former team-mate Mathieu Valbuena in a sex-tape dispute.
Despite being in fine form for Real Madrid, Benzema was continuously omitted, but all seems to have been forgiven as he has once again be recalled.

2. Roy keane, cantona, Lampard inducted to the pl hall of fame
Former Chelsea player and manager Frank Lampard and Manchester United Legends Roy Keane and Eric Cantona are the latest to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
They join Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry who were the inaugural inductees.
The Premier League Hall of Fame aims to honour and celebrate past players for their achievements in the English top-flight. The voting is done by fans.
Once chosen, each Hall of Fame inductee receives a personalised medal engraved with their induction year.
Fans can vote for their Hall of Fame nominees on the official website.
3. Laporta aporta teases fans with changes
Barcelona President Joan Laporta has teased the media and fans alike on impending changes at the club.
With nothing left to play for this season, the president told the media, fans and members of the club to expect changes that would be made soon.
“When I speak of a cycle coming to an end or about renovation work, it’s because it’s what I believe must be done,” he said.
4. roy hodgson to leave crystal palace
Crystal Palace have announced that Roy Hodgson would be vacating his position as manager at the end of the season.
The 73-year-old said he feels it’s time to leave ‘the rigours of top-flight Premier League football’ and bring to an end his ‘responsibilities of being a full-time manager.’
Hodgson has been at Crystal Palace since 2017. His final match in charge will be against his former side Liverpool at Anfield on 23 May. However, before then, the Eagles host the Gunners on Wednesday evening.
Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is mooted to be in contention to take over from Hodgson.

5. Father of Sassuolo player arrested
According to several Italian media outlets, the father of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca has been arrested after breaking into Roma training complex and destroying properties.
Scamacca Snr allegedly destroyed one Roma executive’s car with an iron bar before damaging other vehicles in the attack.
He was apprehended by security in the facility and later arrested by Italian police. The motive behind the attack is still unknown.
His 22-year-old son Gianluca is currently on loan at Sassuolo from Genoa.
