Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has given his opinion about both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Having being at the pinnacle of world football for years alongside Lionel Messi, the five-time Ballon-d’Or winner knows what it takes to be regarded as one of the best players in the world.
It has been a constant wonder on would succeed Messi and Ronaldo to take over the baton in the coming generation and the question was posed to the 36-year-old.
The former Real Madrid player was unveiled as Livescore’s Official Global Brand Ambassador when he was asked on his take on Mbappe and Haaland being successors.

Ronaldo was however hesitant to pick sides and was diplomatic in his response.
“It is hard to choose just one player to say this one will be the best, but I think it is exciting to see this new generation of young players, like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, who are coming through.
“Some players can have one or two great seasons, the really great players are the ones that keep doing it season after season, and that is not so easy to do. It takes a lot of hard work, and a lot of commitment.”
Ronaldo recently became the fastest player in Juventus’ history to reach 100 goals for the club. He is also the first player to register 100 goals for three different clubs and his national team.
With all his achievements and records, Ronaldo hopes to have done enough to ensure that his legacy will last through the ages.
“I hope that I will be remembered as one of the great players, someone that worked hard, that always did his best to help his team and will be part of the history of the game,” he added.
