The girlfriend to Tammy Abraham, Leah Monroe, went on an Instagram rant when the Chelsea player was not selected by Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel for the FA Cup final match against Leicester City.
There was no place in the Chelsea matchday squad for Tammy Abraham at Wembley despite both teams being eligible to name as many as nine substitutes.
Despite being instrumental to the side this season, Tammy Abraham has found himself down the pecking order since the former PSG boss took over.
Thomas Tuchel’s decision to leave out Tammy who is a joint-top scorer in the competition with four goals this season, raised a couple of eyebrows from fans and most especially his partner.
With the announcement of the squad list, Leah took to Instagram to address the situation.
“How on Earth do you make the decision to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for a final?! The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? It’s not making any sense to me whatsoever. Not even the bench?! This has to be a joke.” she wrote.
However, she deleted the message shortly after, typing the words “God is in control.”

Chelsea later lost the match to Leicester by a goal to nil. Tammy Abraham was spotted consoling his teammates after the match.
Tammy Abraham has been a subject of transfer gossip as it seems he has become surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa and London rivals West Ham are amongst the clubs said to be interested in the England international.
Tammy bagged 26 goals while on loan with Aston Villa in 2018-19. He returned to Chelsea and scored 15 times in all competitions last season.
Tammy has scored 12 goals and provided six assists this season, the second-most by a Chelsea player despite his limited opportunities.
When Tuchel was asked why he omitted the forward from the final, he said: “Selection. We have 21 strong players and only 18 possible in the squad.
“Hard decisions, it is my job to make hard decisions. This was the decision and Tammy was not in the group.”
