Inter Milan secured the scudetto on Sunday with four matches to spare after Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with Sassuolo.
The draw meant that it was mathematically impossible for anyone else to surpass their current 82 points.
Inter already had a hand on the title with their 2-0 win over Crotone on Saturday. Goals by Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakim secured all three points for Antonio Conte‘s side. Hence, they only needed a win or for their closest rivals to drop points.

Inter snatched top spot from AC Milan on February 14 and have held on to it ever since. They are currently on an 18-game unbeaten run, collecting 14 wins, 11 of them in a row.
The last manager to have won the scudetto with Inter Milan is Jose Mourinho in the now-famous treble-winning 2009/10 campaign. Meanwhile, their last trophy was the Champions League trophy, also won by Mourinho in the same year.
